Courses for Parents of Babies and Toddlers - Learn through gentle touch a special way to calm and soothe your precious little one.

Baby Reflex is a specially adapted Reflexology created for babies and toddlers. Touch is the first form of communication you have with your baby... from the first time you lay them on your chest. ​Skin to skin contact and the earliest experiences of being touched have been proven to shape the somatosensory brain scaffolding linked to cognitive, perceptual, and social development in infants. (Maitre et al.) These specialist techniques were developed by Reflexologist Jenny Lee for increasing bonding between mother and baby through loving touch, and over the years have helped to ease, relieve, & eliminate many discomforting conditions.

As a Reflexologist I am aware of how meaningful the human touch can be and as a mum I have also seen personally how it can be used to help babies and toddlers with a variety of ailments.

Baby Reflex™ can help with issues such as:

• Reflux

• Constipation, trapped wind, Colic

• Teething

• Sleep patterns 

• Calming baby & toddler

• Ear, nose and throat complaints

• Bonding and attachment

Baby Reflex™ either in the comfort of your own home or in a group at a local centre

 

Both Baby and Toddler Reflex courses take place over 3 weekly one hour sessions. You will learn to use specific finger and thumb pressure techniques on your small baby’s feet, or toddlers hands. Your infant is suitable for the toddler course once he/she is cruising at approximately 10 months old. Prior to this please enrol for the infant course. Both courses incorporate a sound meditation as part of the experience.
